A fusion of fresh and classic.

In searching for new design possibilities, I felt that I wanted to attempt project design involving cars,
which led me to establish the wheel brand [★SUW★].
By making crossovers between the street cultures of the world, of which I myself was an essential essence in my past design work, and the fashion design which I worked on as well as Japan’s unique sensibilities, I am confident that I can transmit a new wheel design “from Japan”which is unconstrained by conventional wisdom.
The “LUXOR” and “LUXOR-VI”, 22-inch wheels for LANDCRUISER 200 / LAND CRUISER PRADO which are the first-stage products, are the fruits of having pursued the fusion of function and design to what can be called the upmost level.
While hybridizing the design trends and street atmospheres of Europe, America, wheelJapan, and the various countries and regions thereof, it mixes the universal beauty found in classic and traditional things.
In the 6-spoke “LUXOR-VI” wheel, I projected a design with a “solid” image inspired by the wheels of steam locomotives filled with power in its design details. Wrought wheels are light and strong.
It is a matter of how one utilizes the material properties and advantages.
I think that by pursuing designs which capitalize on the strengths of the materials, just as in the fashion design that I was involved with in the past, we can achieve products with a higher level of persuasive power.
In the future I would like to continue watching the needs of the times and the trends of the customizing scene to present creative wheel designs which stay one step ahead of the rest through [★SUW★].
